'I am a long standing resident of Clay Cross and I absolutely adore where I live and care so much about our wonderful part of Derbyshire.

I wanted to become a Cllr to make a difference, and listen to residents' views, suggestions and concerns to try and make our area an even better place to live.

My outside interests are walking my four legged best friend, watching ice hockey and following our fantastic local football team, Clay Cross Town FC.

I frequently visit the absolutely outstanding independent businesses in Clay Cross - we have so many and it is so important to shop locally and help them to thrive.

I hope that my passion for where we live, my transparency, and my drive to succeed for our area will encourage residents to get in touch so that I can try to help, listen, and support however I possibly can.'
