"I was born in Farnham, Surrey where I grew up. I had a career in the catering industry working at Guildford Police Station. I moved to Wessington, Derbyshire, then on to Clay Cross where I have lived for the past 10 years.

I love living in the Clay Cross area and enjoy being so close to the stunning Derbyshire countryside. I care a lot about Clay Cross and its residents. I like to take advantage of and support the local businesses in the area.

I enjoy participating in the supervision of the youth group CX21 at Clay Cross Social Centre and I have also been assisting with the Community Garden at St Barnabas Church, Danesmoor. This is an ongoing project and I encourage residents to either come and enjoy the peace and tranquillity or help with gardening.

I am looking forward to the future developments and improvements to Clay Cross as a result of the Town Deal and I know this will benefit both residents and visitors to the area."
