Precept and Budget
The Precept is that element of your Council Tax which is paid to Clay Cross Parish Council.
Every year, the Parish Council draws up a budget and calculates how much money it needs for the next Financial Year. This is usually finalised at the January Full Council meeting and a precept demand submitted to North East Derbyshire District Council.
Financial Regulations
The Annual Council Meeting of Clay Cross Parish Council adopted the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) Model Financial Regulations at their meeting held on Tuesday 25th May 2021.
